LOGLINE
When Zoua, a boy who lives a lonely life on a deserted island, discovers a land far away, his dream of having kids to play with might finally come true.

SYNOPSIS
The story and characters of our 6-minute short animated film were entirely created in a workshop with a group of young children battling cancer and their siblings. The goal with this project is to offer kids the opportunity to see the fruits of their imagination come to life, to make them dream a little bit. In a brainstorming session, the two main characters were described by the kids and drawn by a professional sketch artist. All the supporting characters, in our case 10 animals, were then drawn by the kids and have been integrated into the animatic so they can be part of the animation as well.

Zoua lives in a tree house on a tiny deserted island with his best pal Clody, a parrot. He is great friends with the animals on the island, and as much as he loves them all, Zoua longs more than anything to be able to play with other children. One day Clody finds a magical pair of glasses that lets them see to a faraway land full of kids having fun. Relying on his courage and ingenuity, and another assist from the magic glasses, Zoua puts a plan in motion to trick the piranhas infesting the surrounding waters, and to escape the island and finally make his dreams come true.
