SYNOPSIS
On October 7, Hamas launched a brutal assault on Israel that left over a thousand dead, thousands wounded, and hundreds taken hostage into Gaza. Israel’s military response was immediate and massive, plunging the region into one of its deadliest and most destabilizing chapters in decades. What began as an unprecedented massacre quickly evolved into a prolonged war that has killed tens of thousands of Gazans and reshaped lives far beyond the borders of Israel and Gaza.

The conflict has unleashed a torrent of misinformation, where propaganda competes with lived reality and truth itself feels contested. It has reignited antisemitism globally while deepening the dehumanization of Palestinians, raising urgent questions about morality, necessity, and survival.

This film asks whether it is possible to build bridges in a moment defined by fear, absolutism, and the illusion of moral certainty. What becomes possible when honest conversation replaces inherited narratives shaped by trauma, politics, and media amplification?

The film rejects collective responsibility. It challenges the idea that people should be judged for the actions of governments or armed groups acting in their name. Can we hold empathy for Israeli suffering and Palestinian suffering at the same time? Can we support the safety, dignity, and freedom of both peoples without erasing either experience?

What drives this film is a belief that coexistence is not naïve—it is necessary. By embracing complexity, criticism, and compassion simultaneously, the film seeks to create space for dialogue, shared humanity, and a path forward.
