    When the Los Angeles Dodgers honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at Pride Night, a national firestorm erupts—revealing how a small order of queer nuns became an unlikely flashpoint in America’s ongoing culture war.

    SYNOPSIS
    SISTERS IN THE OUTFIELD follows the Los Angeles Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence as they prepare for the Dodgers’ 2023 Pride Night amid mounting political and religious backlash. Through intimate vérité footage, archival material, and interviews, the film explores the Sisters’ history of activism, compassion, and irreverent ministry while examining why one baseball promotion became a national controversy over faith, free expression, and LGBTQ+ visibility.
