Walking the Tenderloin
ABOUT THE PROJECT

LOGLINE
WALKING THE TENDERLOIN captures one man’s surprising journey from living on the streets to leading the transformative work happening in America’s most misunderstood neighborhood, proving that the people closest to the problem are often closest to the solution.

SYNOPSIS
The Tenderloin district of San Francisco serves as a microcosm of America’s challenges in solving homelessness. Del Seymour spent 18 years living on the streets there, struggling to overcome poverty and addiction. Told through his eyes, this timely story offers a spark for vital conversations everywhere about what society can do to support people, one at a time, to rebuild their lives. Through its focus on the power of dignity and opportunity, WALKING THE TENDERLOIN shows how community-based solutions, led by people like Del with lived experience, can create meaningful pathways to transformation and stability.
