    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
    In a surreal, perpetual night world, a mythical pancake thief and her timid sidekick rob diners, discovering the chaotic truths of identity, friendship, and notoriety.

    SYNOPSIS
    In a desolate rural county in The World of Almost Always Nighttime, the legend of Pancake Skank, a notorious figure who steals pancakes, looms large. Lover Boi, a lonely young man whose lack of identity mirrors his bland existence, encounters Pancake Skank during one of her raids. Despite her violent tendencies, Lover Boi is drawn to her charisma and infatuated. To impress her, he agrees to join her on a spree of diner robberies despite her warning not to fall in love with her.

    Lover Boi and Pancake Skank develop a genuine partnership. However, when Lover Boi confesses his love for her, Pancake Skank angrily ends their friendship, leaving him devastated. Determined to win her back, Lover Boi orchestrates a grand gesture by holding up a diner, leading to a grand finale in which Lover Boi finally becomes remarkable, and Pancake Skank finally learns what it means to be a friend.
