    Lilly - Social Action Campaign
    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
LILLY is a feature drama in production based on the remarkable life of Lilly Ledbetter, a tire factory supervisor who endured 20 years of discrimination, harassment and unequal pay, who took her fight to the U.S. Supreme Court, Congress and all the way to The White House. President Obama named his first piece of legislation the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, transforming her into a national icon.

    SYNOPSIS
Norma Rae. Erin Brockovich. Lilly Ledbetter. Working class heroines battling corporate giants have always been an audience pleaser because so many feel seen in these stories and the idea of a fair and equitable workplace resonates across age, political and gender lines.

To expand the impact of the LILLY movie release, we are launching a dynamic Social Action Campaign (SAC) to raise awareness on important issues such as gender equality, economic mobility and pay equity. We are assembling a robust network of prominent leaders, experts, and activists to support our outreach, adding collaborative gravitas as we extend our reach. These include National Women’s Law Center, AAUW, Equality League, Equal Pay Today, Equal Rights Advocates, Institute for Women’s Policy Research to name a few. As part of the LILLY SAC, we are rolling out a grassroots and corporate screening tour for nonprofits, professional conferences, and corporations to engage and foster discussion and to advance action on gender equity.
