The film explores the connections between horse and rider through the eyes of Bubby and the lens of cutting-edge science.

    SYNOPSIS
HORSES AND THE SCIENCE OF HARMONY asks the question “what is it about horses that speaks so strongly to our heart?” The film follows Bubby Upton, a young superstar in the equestrian sport of eventing. After a fall resulting in seven hours of spinal surgery, the insertion of metal rods and months of physical rehab, Bubby defied all odds to get back in the saddle. Bubby’s story is woven alongside cutting-edge science to educate viewers about equine behavior and optimal well-being. Using examples from Dr. Sue Dyson’s vast orthopedic research, and experts in the fields of equine neuroscience as well as equine behaviorists and Olympic riders, HORSES AND THE SCIENCE OF HARMONY illustrates that true harmony can only be achieved when a horse is comfortable.
