    From Hope To Home
    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
FROM HOPE TO HOME is a documentary feature film exploring the housing crisis through the lens of reality and success, rather than stigma and shame. While Robyn, Nia, Dave, and others still face daily battles, their journeys from rock bottom reveal homelessness for what it truly is - a chapter, not an identity.

    SYNOPSIS

From California to New York and Detroit to San Antonio, we find individuals who have experienced homelessness and housing insecurity who, when we hear their stories, are everyday superheroes. Through sheer grit and the support of helping organizations and caring individuals, they not only mend connections with loved ones, but also build lives of purpose and hope.

    • A housing advisor who once had no home.
    • A food bank CEO who feeds a community that once fed her.
    • A rehabilitated meth-addicted foster child matures, becoming the mother she never had.
    • A corporate president who traded alcohol shots for God-shots.
    • veteran who discovers himself by sharing his story on stage...

The housing crisis is a lived reality for millions of people across the country and around the world.

A documentary feature film, FROM HOPE TO HOME and the accompanying Dare to Share impact campaign bring that reality to life. People of all ages and backgrounds open up about navigating the impossible choices created by the lack of affordable housing, financial catastrophe, climate events, changing life circumstances, and shrinking safety nets.

Audiences will witness the struggles of housing insecurity, as well as the resilience and determination of those building meaningful lives of purpose. Their stories bring a human face to an issue and a reframed narrative that is often reduced to numbers and policy debates.

At its core, this film is about the transformational power of home, community, purpose, and faith.
