    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
    DEATH BECOMES US is a feature documentary that explores death through the eyes of those who work with it daily—from the moment of death to burial.

    SYNOPSIS
    DEATH BECOMES US follows the path a body takes after death, spending time with hospice workers, death doulas, and funeral home staff, the people who "touch the body," whose daily proximity to death has shaped their understanding of it in profound and often unexpected ways.

    By observing and listening to these individuals, asking when they began this work, how it has changed them, and what it has taught them about their own mortality, the film gently invites viewers to ask questions many of us are afraid to consider.

    The goal is to open an honest conversation about something we all share: the inevitability of death, and what it means to accept it as a natural part of life.
