    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
A death row inmate accepts a plea deal for a crime after 30 years of maintaining complete innocence. Now, an activist that once fought for his release is faced with the moral dilemma of whether the fight was in vain.

    SYNOPSIS
CHAIN OF ROCKS is the first fully stop-motion animated feature-length documentary film. It is an intimate story about doubt, guilt, accountability, and masculinity told through the friendship of filmmaker, Damon Davis, and a Death Row inmate, Reggie Clemons.

In April of 1991, two sisters, Robin and Julie Kerry were raped and murdered on the Chain of Rocks Bridge in St. Louis, Missouri. One of four men accused of the crimes, Reginald Clemons, has spent the last 27 years of his life on Death Row maintaining his innocence. Over the years, Clemons develops a friendship with filmmaker Damon Davis.

CHAIN OF ROCKS is an exploration of the complexities of race and masculinity, how they skew our worldview and play a role in oppressive systems.
