    Anatomy of Ordinary Crimes
    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    LOGLINE
Through the real stories of four women, “ANATOMY OF ORDINARY CRIMES” exposes the devastating impact of cyber violence and online abuse on our lives and society alike as one of the most dangerous phenomena of our time.

    SYNOPSIS
Through four powerful and intimate stories, ANATOMY OF ORDINARY CRIMES exposes a crisis hiding in plain sight: online cyber violence and abuse that drive both adults and teenagers to the brink of suicide.

The film reveals the stark disconnect between how society perceives digital abuse—as mere words on a screen—and its devastating real-world consequences. What begins as harassment online doesn’t stay online. It follows victims into their homes, their schools, their sleepless nights. It shapes their sense of self, their trust in others, their will to live.

Fueled by discrimination and prejudice, these crimes affect millions. Yet they’ve become so ordinary, so constant, that society has grown dangerously numb to their existence. We scroll past the headlines. We dismiss the warnings. We tell victims to "just log off" or "ignore the trolls," as if survival were that simple.

But when a picture can speak a thousand lies and a picture can take a life, what’s the price of turning a blind eye?

ANATOMY OF ORDINARY CRIMES doesn’t just document this dangerous phenomenon—it forces us to confront an uncomfortable truth: we’ve normalized a form of violence that destroys lives while leaving no visible wounds. Through intimate testimonies and unflinching investigation, the film exposes the human cost of our collective indifference and asks whether we’re willing to break the silence before more lives are lost.
