LOGLINE
PREPARE FOR LAUNCH takes an intricate look into the life of American astronaut John S. Bull from the original class of 19 astronauts chosen to go to the Moon in the 1960's.

SYNOPSIS
American hero John S. Bull is obsessed with flying. One of the United States top pilots in the 1960’s, Bull set his sights on the greatest expedition mankind would ever witness, the chance to be the first man on the moon. Bull’s dream became bigger than he ever imagined. The space race was on in a pinnacle technological battle between the USA and Russia. Russia beat them to the punch on every major historical achievement. First man in space, first animal and first man to orbit earth. NASA was losing badly. Even at the loss of life, NASA had to keep pushing hard for the moon. Bull did not back down. He was feverishly on-board with the Apollo missions to the detriment of his family, wife Nancy and son Jeffery. The space race was an emotional gauntlet for these families. The sacrifice was tearing Bull apart mentally and physically. Did John S. Bull live his dream and make it to the moon?
