Dear Bookers:
Updating you all on the incredible opening weekend of ALL THE RAGE at NYC (Cinema Village) where it posted $9,700 on 1 screen.
The filmmakers are consistently turning out incredible organizational support for the film due to the huge global following for Dr. Sarno (author of Healing Back Pain: The Mind-Body Connection), including Howard Stern, who promoted the film this week.
Shockingly, Dr. Sarno passed away at 93 the day before the film opened. The NY Times obit leads with the fact that the film opened the following day- and they embedded the trailer in the obit. Needless to say interest is very high and the filmmakers are fielding a barrage of requests for the film. As Sarno is widely read in 30 countries and deeply loved, he will be missed—his fans and those newly inspired by him now will at least be able to take in the film and discuss and share thoughts and experiences afterward.
Further, the film is striking a chord with audiences because it deals directly with the pain crisis- which is at the heart of the opioid crisis.
See below for more information on this epic first person journey, 13 years in the making.

“All The Rage is a documentary that blew me away. Michael put himself on the line. As any real artist would, he bears his soul. He’s quite brave and vulnerable, thereby making this movie a work of art because it is highly personal and yet the subject that it tackles is universal. It, like Dr. Sarno, and the work of Dr. Sarno, is a precious gift that should be shown and exhibited on movie screens worldwide. It’s an amazing film.”

ABOUT THE FILM:
Dr. John Sarno takes a radical approach to back pain, instructing patients to focus on repressed emotions as the source. His book Healing Back Pain has been dismissed by peers, but acclaimed by countless readers. Among them are filmmaker Michael Galinsky (Battle for Brooklyn), who takes a first-person approach to exploring the work of Dr. Sarno. Through interviews with Sarno and esteemed patients like Larry David and Howard Stern, the film offers a radical rethink of how we approach health care.
