Dear Collaborators,
TFC Community Calendar
TFC is pleased to announce our new "Community Calendar," a membership feature designed to help our members communicate with the TFC community-at-large about the venues and platforms where their films can be seen and supported.
If you have joined TFC and have a current membership (at any paid level), this feature is now available to you. It’s a great way to spread the word about your film and have the amazing TFC community support you!
All you need to do is send us the details of where and when your film is screening (or info on the platforms where it is available) by the 20th of EACH month, and we'll send it out via Facebook and in a newsletter e-blast to our readers. Please email the info to us at community@thefilmcollaborative.org.
Here are some guidelines for the info:
- Please send us up to 100 words (not including URLs). We reserve the right to edit it if necessary.
- Please also include your key art/poster (we don't need a huge file, but it should be least 250px in width). If your film does not yet have key art, just send us your best image.
- Please include info as to how TFC members can attend or support the film. In keeping with the spirit of this, please don't include small regional festivals in remote locations where very few of our readers will likely be able to attend. We're looking for info about major destination festivals, large cities where our members may live, platforms we can all access via the internet or other players, etc. There are no hard and fast rules about this… just keep this in mind when submitting. We reserve the right to not include a posting that we think will not be useful to our readers.
- Kickstarter and IndieGogo campaigns are permitted (and indeed encouraged), assuming you are a current member.
- To reiterate, please send to community@thefilmcollaborative.org by the 20th of each month.
- If you are unsure as to whether you are a current TFC member, please go our join page, which clearly outlines the distinction between members and non-members. Or just ask us!
And now, here is an actual Community Calendar item we'd like you to consider!
