TFC Blog update

We have two new blog posts for you this time! The first is about Pinterest and is written Sheri Candler, who will soon be taking on a larger role at TFC. You may also want to look at previous blogs in case you missed any…they are chock-full-of-good-distribution-intel.

The second blog is a breakdown by section of the distribution deals done out of Sundance 2012, written by Bryan Glick, a new member of the TFC family.


SXSW

TFC will be attending SXSW and we are thrilled to be representing Gayby at the festival.

TFC's Orly Ravid will moderate a SXSW panel entitled How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love VOD, Monday March 12 2:00 - 3:00 PM, Austin Convention Center, 4th Floor, Room 15.

Immediately after the panel TFC will be having a book signing of Selling Your Film Without Selling Your Soul presented by Prescreen, co-authored by Jon Reiss and Sheri Candler. The book signing will take place at 3:30 at the bookstore on the 4th floor of the convention center.


On a final note, we need to congratulate Aurora Guerrero and her Sundance 2012 film Mosquita y Mari (for which we brokered a distribution deal, designed the key art, and are handling festivals and the theatrical release) on her very own Microsoft Bing Commercial!

Kimi Takesue’s lyrical, observational documentary takes us to the streets, shops and countrysides of post-civil war Uganda, painting a portrait of a country rediscovering its human connections in peacetime.
