The Film Collaborative is the first non-profit devoted exclusively to the DISTRIBUTION of independent film. Headed by Orly Ravid and Jeffrey Winter, The Film Collaborative is pleased to announce that we have a great number of films at Outfest this year. Many of you may already know Orly and Jeffrey from our for-profit company, New American Vision (NAV), and its long association with NAV’s client, Wolfe Releasing.

In addition, TFC is proud to announce a new worldwide initiative for the distribution of LGBT-themed short films, in partnership with our worldwide LGBT territorial buyers plus our mobile partner Babelgum. We’ll be scouring Outfest for the best in LGBT themed film, so look for us there. We're pleased to announce that we are working with filmmaker/author/consultant/5-year Sundance short film programmer Roberta Munroe, who is now Director of our Short Film Department. As part of our ongoing efforts to help filmmakers negotiate the new world of distribution, TFC offers extensive educational resources and distribution services.
