Lots of updates and good news since our last newsletter…as we say goodbye to a busy 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival and hello to an equally active Outfest 2010: The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.

In addition, The Film Collaborative is thrilled to announce new films we’ll be working with that were featured at the LAFF. TFC is now providing distribution consultation to Michael Nash’s CLIMATE REFUGEES; Jennifer Arnold’s A SMALL ACT; Kimi Takasue’s WHERE ARE YOU TAKING ME; as well as US sales in association with Studio Canal on Percy Adlon’s MAHLER ON THE COUCH. Finally for now, TFC is proud to announce a new worldwide initiative for the distribution of LGBT-themed short films, in partnership with our worldwide LGBT territorial buyers plus our mobile partner Babelgum. We’ll be scouring Outfest for the best in LGBT-themed film, so look for us there. We're pleased to announce that we are working with filmmaker/author/consultant/5-year Sundance short film programmer Roberta Munroe, who is now Director of our Short Film Department.
