Dear Film Collaborative Advisors:

Just a quick note to update you on our progress and to invite you to our first private gathering of the Collaborative VIPs!

As most of you know, we soft-launched at Sundance this year, and then moved into full site launch and full operation in March. Since then, we've worked on over 30 films…in various roles such as domestic sales, theatrical booking, overall distribution consultation, contract services, Festival distribution, grassroots marketing services, and direct digital distribution.

You can find some of them already up on thefilmcollaborative.org and we're adding new filmmaker clients and updating the site weekly.

We're very proud of helping filmmakers sort out their distribution options and get the best terms, deals and marketing value possible.

We've also added distripedia™, our suite of online resources for filmmakers, which we're expanding weekly, and we've currently developing a screening series as well as an iPhone and iPad App and providing a back-end to portions of the site. We are planning our FIRST FILM COLLABORATIVE RECEPTION/PARTY on THURSDAY, MAY 27th at the beautiful home of our Advisory Board member ROSE KUO in Hancock Park…from 8 - 11 p.m.

We are of course inviting YOU (members of our esteemed Advisory Board), as well as special filmmakers from our TFC community.
